Uhr Drache

Meet Uhr Drache (pronounced oouh dra'-kha), the McCormick clan's Drakkar class airship.

Allow me to acquaint you with her story...
  Long long ago my dear husband, Lord McCormick, was the childhood friend of one, Arthur Pendragon. When they were lads they stumbled upon a fatally wounded dragon. Her egg had been stolen by a most dreadful pirate and she offered a reward to the boys if they could retrieve it. Now, what young chap has ever turned down a good adventure...(insert covert operations, a skirmish or two, egg retrieval, and escape here, which is another volume entirely).

They did wonder if they would find the dragon alive upon their return. And more so, whether they would receive the promised reward or be burnt to a crisp...for one can't always trust a dragon.  Alas! They did find the dragon alive and she gave them her heart as a reward. 

Many years later, Arthur became rather important and bequeathed the dragon's heart to his best friend and confidant, Lord McCormick. Arthur commissioned his magician mentor to build a home for the heart. A Drakkar class airship was constructed and the heart was nestled in the hull amidst a magically complicated chronometer.

She was christened, Uhr Drache, which means clock dragon in German. Lord McCormick is her Captain, but she moves of her own volition. She is entirely autonomous and graciously allows us to live aboard and travel with her. (And only rarely does she become, ahem...difficult, and refuse to go where our itinerary dictates.) We are her friends, family, and crew. I, Lady McCormick, am a Cache Curator traveling the temporal winds managing my client's treasure. My daughter, Juliette Bellafoxe, is her best friend and engineer. My son, Sir Avery, is the First Officer and our bodyguard.

Uhr Drache's fierce Viking spirit keeps us safe while she glides gracefully through the sky, riding the currents with ease. She loves nothing more than having sparkling treasure aboard for transport to a different vault. Her chronometer allows us to traverse time and space in pursuit of my occupation and many a grand adventure!
