I think 2017 will be a banner year!
Those of you who know me, know I'm an idea person. I love ideas...thinking them up, twisting them around, talking them through, making them perfect in my mind's eye. This usually leads to lots of projects started, but not nearly as many finished. My word for this year is Completion.
These are some of the projects I'd like to complete this year to share with you:
*An amazing super secret sewing project, to be revealed in April.
*A new hairstyle!
*Vintage dress sewing projects for myself and Miss H.
*Reorganizing my closet.
*Hat collection blog posts...including a tutorial on steaming vintage hats to reshape them.
*Finally finishing Master G's Nemo room decor....it's only been 4 years in limbo....
*Purging more stuff!
*Thrifting Finds...Each year I get more selective.
*Making curtains...another much overdue project!
*A house tour of my modern Craftsman inspired house.
As far as my personal goals: I need to move more, and eat better. I'm keeping it very simple. I know me...and I know the more complicated it is to do, the faster I run the opposite direction.
Now enough of goals, I've got the itch to show off my gorgeous Christmas dress for this year. I bought it from Voodoo Vixen, here. The background is dark brown, with green, red, yellow, and white plaid. Plaid is my favorite color! I paired it with a red sweater, dark brown tights & Mary Janes, and a vintage red straw had with a veil.
