I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all our men and women serving in the armed forces! Your sacrifices of family time, hard work, and in some cases health, is very much appreciated.
Today was 30's inspired hair, by default.
I was running late this morning and my crown curls were still damp. If I'd put on makeup, I'd have actually been late for work so I chose not to. I'm actually pleased with my hair in the front. I just brushed it out and pulled it to the side with a barrette. The back is another story entirely! You can see that the damp curls never held. I'll go back tonight and recurl them for church tomorrow.
Moving on to less tousled subjects...I chose a red blouse, brown plaid skirt with a stripe of red...(plaid is my favorite color!)...both pieces from my closet, and my new brown cardigan, adorned with an American flag brooch from my collection, in honor of Armed Forces Day.
Tomorrow is the last of my Jump into Vintage week. I've got a fabulous outfit planned, so check back. You can find the other vintage days here: Day 1, Day 2, Day 3, Day 4, Day 5, Day 7
